Cooperation
A notable feature of the Wemos approach is our cooperation with partners in the developing countries, as well as those in the Netherlands and elsewhere in Europe. These partners share our aims and vision.Partners in the developing countries
Organizations in the developing countries are important partners to Wemos. They actively lobby in their own countries, and draw attention to the problems that we are then able to tackle at the international level. They are also able to use information about our lobbying activities to support their own work. We regularly invite partners to join us at meetings and in conducting campaigns. The examples and testimony they provide can be incorporated in our information material and workshops. The organizations we work with are:- Acción Internacional por la Salud (AIS), Bolivia;
-
Centre for Studies in Ethics and Rights (CSER), India;
-
Development Organization of the Rural Poor (DORP), Bangladesh;
-
Great Lakes University of Kisumu (GLUK), Kenya;
-
Health NGOs Network (HENNET), Kenya;
- Latin American Network on Ethics and Medicines (RELEM), Latin America.
