Dioraphte

Dioraphte is a private foundation that supports charitable causes in five countries: the Netherlands, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and Malawi. The foundation provides financial support to programmes and projects in the following areas: social initiatives in Africa, social initiatives in the Netherlands, science & research, performing arts and cultural heritage. Their annual budget of approximately €14.5 million enables them to support initiatives that have a significant impact on peoples’ lives.

 

Wemos has a longstanding funding relation and relationship of trust with Dioraphte, dating back to the early 2000s. In 2019, we successfully applied for the first time for a general financial contribution in the form of flexible organizational funding. With this support and trust from Dioraphte, Wemos as an organization is able to independently, adequately and effectively anticipate relevant health challenges and execute our strategy.
